Pondering a Pond?
Where to Begin To form your new pond, we have underlayment for your pond liner, flexible pond liner, and pre-formed liners. To help make those water features in your pond amazing, we have a variety of pumps, fountains, spitters, pond statues, and tubing. We have everything you need to keep your water clean including filters, skimmers, UV lights, and special bacteria that will eat away your scum and algae. Right now, the best product to use is Fall/Winter Microblift. It contains a unique bacterium that can survive freezing and continues to work in cooler temperatures. It will also give you a head start on those springtime algae problems. Speaking of freezing, we are currently carrying deicers, fountains covers, and pond netting, to protect your pond during these cold months and keep them looking nice. If you have fish in your ponds, we have food, salts, and chemicals to keep them alive and happy, not to mention decoys to scare away any predators. When springtime comes, make sure to stop by the Loveland Garden Center to see our wide variety of pond plants. We carry both tropical and hardy aquatic plants that are essential to have if you desire a balanced ecosystem in your pond. To keep your plants growing throughout the season, we suggest using Aqua-Tab fertilizer pellets. These pellets are great because they won’t change the pH of your pond or adversely effect your fish. This is only a brief summary of what we have here at the Loveland Garden Center. Make sure to come down and experience for yourself our variety of products and helpful staff!
